Time it takes to load a wheelchair user - Adapted Taxi

This short film has been made to highlight Private Hire Drivers and Operators overcharging wheelchair passengers in Bradford and Districts. Some operators are charging more than 100% of the actual amount. This seems to be a national issue affecting many wheelchair users across the country. This is illegal under The Equality Act 2010 section 165, which imposes duties and states clearly with-in the legislation that assistance must be provided and can not be charged for. However drivers are charging extra for assisting. We, People First Keighley & Craven are a self-advocacy group run by people with Learning Disabilities for people with Learning Disabilities, and have been campaigning to stop this overcharging issue since 2011.
